I used the TP20 on a pork shoulder overnight and the dual probes were a huge help. The alarm was loud enough to hear from inside, and the temps matched my instant-read thermometer closely.
This thermometer makes it much easier to manage burgers and chicken without opening the lid constantly. The receiver is convenient, though I noticed the range gets a little less dependable when I move farther away from the patio.
