The Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker 18 inch is a classic water smoker built for steady, low-and-slow barbecue. Its 18-inch cooking diameter gives you generous space for smoking ribs, brisket, pork shoulder, poultry, and other favorites, while the vertical design helps maintain consistent heat and smoke circulation. Made by Weber, it reflects the brand’s reputation for straightforward performance and dependable outdoor cooking. This smoker is designed to make temperature control more manageable during long cook sessions. The porcelain-enameled bowl, lid, and center section help retain heat and resist rust, while the built-in water pan supports moisture and helps moderate cooking temperatures. Adjustable dampers allow you to fine-tune airflow, and the dual-cooking grate layout lets you smoke multiple items at once or separate larger cuts for better organization. For barbecue enthusiasts who want authentic smoked flavor without an overly complicated setup, the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker 18 inch is a proven choice. It offers the kind of consistent results that make it popular with both dedicated hobbyists and experienced pitmasters. Whether you are smoking for a weekend gathering or a full-day cook, it delivers the dependable performance needed for rich smoke flavor and tender, well-cooked meat.
It holds temperature really well and gives me consistent results on ribs and pork butt. The build quality feels excellent and cleanup is manageable.
Plenty of room for a few racks of ribs plus a shoulder. Once I learned the vents, it became very easy to use.
It takes some attention, but the smoky flavor is worth it. I like the sturdy construction and how evenly it cooks over long sessions.
